The latest generation of Low resistance ohmmeters are designed for the smallest resistances or low ohmic ranges. The high measuring accuracy is guaranteed by first-class measuring amplifiers. Furthermore, the resistance measurement is carried out with high precision for the high demands and difficult tasks. Above all, micro-ohmmeters of this type are a good choice for laboratory or field use, and they offer outstanding performance. However, the compact and lightweight devices remain leak-proof at high or low temperatures. This is why the Low resistance ohmmeters withstand extreme environmental conditions despite the finest measuring methods. Whereby the field of application is not only the high and medium voltage level but also other areas of resistance measurement.
Micro Ohm Meter | DLRO2 | Ohmmeter
The Micro Ohm Meter DLRO2 is a rugged, portable 2 A micro ohm meter. It delivers fast, accurate and repeatable measurements – even in locations full of electrical noise. The DLRO2 joins a host of products that proudly carry the Ducter™ brand as the latest addition. Ducter™ testers are as well known and proven as Megger insulation resistance testers. Users in the power supply sector or industry get a high level of safety thanks to CAT III-600 V/CAT IV-300 V in accordance with IEC61010. In addition, the device is equipped with self-protection in case of accidental connection up to 600 V without tripping a fuse.
This saves valuable time that would otherwise be spent repairing or obtaining a replacement fuse. When working outdoors, IP54 protection ensures that neither rain nor dust will prevent testing. The DLRO2 is at home in a wide variety of applications, measuring low-resistance values on railroads and aircraft as well as industrial components. Thanks to dedicated long test leads to optimize output, even applications where long test leads are required are no problem for the DLRO2. The long test lead feature delivers up to 1 A of test current into 4 ohms of resistance.
This makes the DLRO2, with its optional test leads on cable reels, the ideal instrument for testing wind turbines and aircraft lightning protection applications. For testing smaller inductive loads, the DLRO2 can apply 2 A for at least 15 seconds, made possible by the integrated high-capacity batteries and a separate inductive load function. The batteries can be fully charged within 2.5 hours, minimizing downtime. Note: The DLRO2 is not intrinsically safe/ ATEX certified and must not be used in explosive environments.

Micro Ohm Meter DLRO10HD | Micro Ohm Measurement
The Micro Ohm Meter DLRO 10HD Digital 10 A Low Ohm Tester is well suited for measuring thick conductors, joints and the quality of welds due to its 10 A range for resistance values up to 250 mΩ. Electromagnetic noise induced in the cables can interfere with a measured value. A noise symbol alerts the user and prevents a measurement if the instrument detects noise above its threshold. When dissimilar metals are connected together, a thermocouple effect occurs.
Users should select a bidirectional mode to ensure termination of this effect. The DLRO 10HD adapts to the requirements in a much improved way. It can deliver 10 A in loads up to 250 mΩ and 1 A in loads up to 2.5 Ω. Each test can last up to 60 seconds. Megger’s DLRO 10HD Micro Ohm Meter, which expands the DLRO10 and 10X series, combines extreme ease of use with a rugged IP 65 enclosure. The instrument is powered by either its rechargeable battery or mains voltage, making it suitable for continuous testing in assembly line repetitive application environments. Operation via rotary switch controls is simple and easy in all weather conditions, even with gloves on.
A large, clear LCD display with backlighting can be easily read from a distance. The DLRO 10HD adapts to the requirements in a much improved way. It can deliver 10 A in loads up to 250 mΩ and 1 A in loads up to 2.5 Ω. Each test can take up to 60 seconds.

Micro Ohm Meter DLRO100 | Micro Ohm Measurement
Micro Ohm Meter DLRO100 – The DLRO100 Micro Ohm Meters an essential addition to Megger’s extensive range of micro ohm meters. They micro ohm meters allow low resistance measurements in multiple applications and in areas without access to a mains supply. The integrated lithium ion battery performs for up to 200 manual / automatic tests. With a constant current of 100A, it provides increased productivity in remote locations. The advanced design features, with special attention paid to user safety, ensure the safe operation of the unit in the most challenging conditions.
These features include the CAT IV 600 VAC / 500 VDC safety category according to IEC61010. The robust design, intuitive user interface and IP54 rating (cover open) ensure reliability and ease of use in the most challenging conditions. The manual test mode allows the user to start the test as soon as contact is made between the probes and the object under test. Once the TEST button is pressed, the TEST light will illuminate and the instrument will perform a single test to confirm the resistance of the object under test. In Auto Mode, the user selects the desired current and connects the current sense leads.
Once the voltage leads are connected, a test is automatically started. To repeat a test, simply disconnect and reconnect the contact with the voltage measurement taps. In continuous mode, the user connects the test leads and presses the TEST button, which starts the test procedure. The instrument continues the test and updates the display after each new test cycle until the TEST button is pressed.

Micro Ohmmeter MOM2 | Micro-ohmmeter
The Micro Ohmmeter MOM2 can be used wherever a low resistance value has to be measured with high accuracy. The test system MOM2 was developed for a number of applications. The most common are contact resistance measurements of low, medium and high voltage switches as well as busbar connectors and other high current connections. If the contact resistance is too high, this leads to power loss and temperature rise, often causing serious problems.
To avoid these problems, the resistance must be checked at regular intervals. The Micro Ohmmeter MOM2 is designed to measure the resistance of circuit breaker contacts, busbar connectors and other high current connections. The main focus in product development was on safety, ease of use and versatility. The micro-ohmmeter can be used wherever a low resistance value has to be measured with high accuracy. MOM2 allows measurements according to the Dual Ground method. This means that the test object is grounded on both sides during the test, thus enabling a safer, faster and easier workflow. Robustness and low weight make MOM2 a hand-held device, ideally suited for on-site work, for example in switching stations.
The device is supplied with a robust rubber holster and is therefore particularly resistant. MOM2 is designed to last a full day of testing without recharging. It can store 190 test results and transfer the test data to a PC via Bluetooth. The MOM2 test system has been developed for a number of applications. The most common are contact resistance measurements of low, medium and high voltage switches as well as busbar connectors and other high current connections.
